Captain Phillips is an American biographical survival thriller inspired by the story of the Maersk Alabama hijacking, where merchant mariner Captain Richard Phillips was taken hostage by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean. Parts of the film were shot in Morocco, mainly Agadir and Sidi Bibi.
Filmed in Oasis Studios Morocco, the series A.D. The Bible Continues generated a lot of buzz and kudos for its high production values.
The fifth season of the “Prison Break” series was shot in three cities of Morocco - Casablanca, Rabat and Ouarzazate
